Analysis tool for web statistics

The UDI uses the analysis tool Google Analytics to gather and assess information about how visitors use the website. Google Analytics uses cookies.

The UDI is's data controller and decides what information Google can collect about the use of the website. Google Analytics only receives general web statistics, for example the type of browser, time, language and what website the user came from.

In line with normal internet practice, the user's IP address is registered. However, the UDI has chosen to use a script that removes the final digits of your IP address before the information is stored by Google Analytics. This means that the analysis tool can estimate the user's geographical location, but the address can not be used to identify individuals.

The collected information is subject to Google's privacy policy (eksternal website).
